When people learn I’ve been married over thirty years they often pause and turn to look me up and down as though I am a chipped statue from the last century. They either congratulate me like I’ve lived through a bout of bird flu or look at me with pity as though I’ve been living in a bubble. I’m accustomed to but don’t like either response. Life has a relentless ability to twist, hammer, pound, pamper, surprise, teach, lecture all humans and I believe being married is a twist to the plot that adds certain story lines but doesn’t coddle, protect, save or destroy any more or less than being single.

Still, being married thirty years means I’ve lived a while and at a certain point most people begin to do a little backward glancing to say, “Wow, have I learned anything?” To be bluntly truthful, when I first asked myself this question absolutely nothing rushed in for me to congratulate myself for accomplishing. It took a while before I willingly claimed the homely children who often are too blunt and cruel but I see their value and I no longer want to live without them. My five children are:

1. The person I married is not the one I got. He started changing the morning after the wedding. He kept changing through becoming a father, buying a house, his career and he’s not stopping. Some things seemed to have stabilized from young man to real man, but life (and me) continues to pound and reshape him.

2. I carefully pick my fights. That comes from two angles. I no longer avoid an issue to ‘keep the peace’ as my grandmother taught me and I no longer ‘confront the jerk’ like so many others suggest. Instead I think, consider, weigh the importance and do a little training before getting in the ring or I don’t get in the ring at all.

3. Kindness counts. It counts as courtesy to strangers as I drive and my physical safety is within their power and it counts with a man whose anger and hurt buttons I have down to an art as finely tuned and elegant as Russian egg painting.

4. I’m a separate person. I had the little girl belief that the cleaving of marriage would tie us in mind, spirit, body and what we wanted to do next weekend. Not a one turned out true and in the end I’m pleased it’s so.

5. Sometimes time heals wounds. Since I’m a writer I feel capable of messing up anyone’s perfect writing with my opinions. Perhaps it is a continuing flaw of mine that can only reduce old wounds to still present scar tissue. It is slight, sometimes totally unnoticeable but it is also a gentle reminder of what I learned. Scar tissue is my respected teacher reminding me of strength, resolve, continuing forgiveness in small degrees and self-knowledge.

I have a good marriage. It amply supplies me with love and happiness. He is a good and true man who has had the graciousness to stay with me. But a long lived marriage is not a monastery or moral virtue only because time has passed. It is simply a way of walking down the path of life. Sometimes holding hands and sometimes very alonejust like everyone else.

If Consciousness is all of one ‘thing,’ which isn’t a thing, then it is the indivisible context for ‘everything’ that manifests in this dream we refer to as “reality.” There is no duality, only Consciousness which includes the fiction duality exists. If this is true, then Consciousness is the warehouse for the manifestation called “Science,” and its imaginary counterpart called “Spirituality.” In the name of resistance, one is treated as fact, or something that exists outside of Consciousness, and the other is treated as fiction, the annoying rebuttal to the fiction called “Science.” Would the real set of facts please step forward. If Consciousness is the context for ‘everything,’ then Science and metaphysics are two ways to look at truth. They are not disparate, unrelated entities, each vying for center-stage recognition. They are not antithetical, oppositional, antagonistic polarities.

When you move in on the interior of truth, what comes into focus is that the dream features both as content in the dream, and that they both share that same reality. The question of which came first Science or Metaphysics, in the absence of duality, is absurd.

What came first is Mind, the ultimate subject of ‘everything,’ that spawns dreamers who know Mind is what ‘everything’ is, and ‘Science’ that spawns dreamers who work hard to defend ‘The Master Lie, ” that ‘this’ is real and not content in a dream. Mind is the author of the hoax called “duality,” including the cast of characters who represent this fiction. In keeping with the dualistic parody, metaphysics is closer to the truth Mind is all there is, and manifests as its own opposition called “Science.”

Poor Science is saddled with the impossible task of trying to defend “The Master Lie,” as if nothing is Mind-generated. Quantum takes us one step closer to the truth nothing is what it appears to be because nothing is what it appears to be. If “reality” is what Mind is dreaming, then the ‘Scientists’ have a date with the fact they are ‘Metaphysicians’ posing as people, and sometimes, very high-minded people at that. What’s on the line, as usual, is the truth there is no duality, which, unfortunately, threatens to reveal that Mind is the context for everything, including the fiction called “Science.”

The Recovery Process - provides reminders to expand consciousness. This process assists you to shift from who you aren’t, often someone who suffers, to who you are; a spiritual being —free at last to enjoy the agenda- free life.

If you’re an online marketer and own a website, you know the key to making sales is getting more traffic to your website. You also know all web site traffic is not created equal. You not only need lots of web traffic, you need lots of targeted traffic. That’s the key and once you have it, your sales will increase exponentially.

The best way to get targeted website traffic is to use Pay-per-Click (PPC) services such as Google AdWords, or Yahoo or a host of other pay services. You also need to know what you’re doing or you could find yourself spending lots of money, getting poor results and losing money very quickly. Also, when you’re first starting out, you have a limited budget, and starting with PPC campaigns may not even be an option for you at this point in time.

That’s where free traffic exchanges come in. Free traffic exchanges can be a great way to get traffic to your website. You should also know there’s really no such thing as free because you must spend your time surfing through other websites to earn credits. Free traffic exchanges are a great way to get lots of visitors to your site however, so spending an hour a day surfing, is not a lot to ask if you’re making sales from your efforts. And isn’t this why your in this business to begin with?

Free traffic exchanges are a great marketing tool for a many reasons. The best reason is that you get lots of people looking, and hopefully clicking on your website or promotional pages. But there are hidden benefits to free traffic exchanges you may not have even considered.

Search engines love free traffic exchanges because of all the incoming and outgoing links they generate. Plus the rapidly changing content is another reason the search engines love traffic exchanges. Exchanges that have more content also generate a higher page rank, and therefore more traffic, and increased memberships. The key is to find exchanges that are very active and have lots of members. The more members they have, the more potential customers you get looking at your offer and your chances for sales conversions are that much better. But bigger isn’t always better.

Some free traffic exchanges may do very well for one marketer, and be a complete waste of time for another. If everyone were promoting the same website or affiliate program in the same traffic exchange for example, then chances are you would not make many sales. Even if you were promoting the best product or service on the internet, if everyone promoted the same thing, your chances of someone purchasing through your website or links, are slim to none. Also, when people see the same ad over and over again, they get desensitized to it. Don’t fall into this trap. It’s one thing to try and sell a very popular product/service/ebook etc, but it’s another thing when a million other people are trying to do it too. Competition is a good thing, because it validates your market, but too much competition is tough and it’s time to move on to something else.

We all know clicking on ads in a free traffic exchange can be very boring, monotonous and can take a lot of time. That’s why you need to make the best of your opportunity or you will just be wasting a lot of your time and effort on something that just isn’t working. If you have your own niche website, then you already differentiated yourself from the pack. If you are an affiliate marketer, then you need to find products/services that everyone else isn’t promoting, especially within that particular traffic exchange.

One way to use free traffic exchanges to your advantage is to join a few at first, and see if your sales pick up. If your sales aren’t doing well, then test out a few more. When you do find a few traffic exchanges that appear to be generating sales for you, then narrow those down until you find the one, or two that are working. Now concentrate your efforts on those because they’re the ones you want. At least for now anyway. Things may change, so keep an eye on your campaigns and if sales seem to be falling off, then it might be time to change your offer or find another traffic exchange that could pick your profits up again.

As I mentioned, your individual promotion is everything. If you’re trying to promote something everyone else is, I don’t care what traffic exchange service you’re using, your sales conversions are going to be very low, or nothing at all. You cannot always blame the exchange. Sometimes you have to look at yourself and think if you’re doing all you can to make sales.

If you’re going to use multiple free traffic exchanges, and I recommend that you do, you should get yourself a multi-tab web browser. Many of these browsers are free and run on PCs and MACs. The tabs feature allows you to have one web browser open with multiple tabs each going to a separate website. You could easily put 5 or 6 of your free exchange sites in these tabs, and earn credits for all of them at the same time. So instead of surfing for 1/2 an hour or an hour earning 200 hits for one exchange, you could earn 200 hits for 5 exchanges in the same amount of time. This is a huge time saver and multiplies your earned hits by 5X or 6X.

Getting free traffic to your website can be a lot of work. If you don’t have the money to spend on full blown PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns like Google AdWords or Yahoo, free traffic exchanges are a great way to get the traffic you need, for Free!

You will find several contrasting brands of hotel which our capital has available. Several are of a similar standard as each other but might often have differing facilities on offer, consequently you will need to be explicit when it comes to what it is you are looking out for. Do you want to be overindulged, sup on high tea someplace special or perhaps purely enjoy several nights and laze around in luxury accommodation?

Moreover to posh hotels to reside in, come the offbeat hotels. Such hotels are starting to become even more familiar & are now no longer colossal as they were previously. Today there are some locations that one can come across them in, e.g. Notting Hill, Soho and Knightsbridge, although you’ll find some more coming before long. The Soho Hotel at present is one of the most popular example. The thing that makes this establishment distinguished & different is that the facilities are spectacular. It’s thought of as one of the elite trendy and funky places where you can stay - that’s if you can book a room, something that nowdays is troublesome. The hotel has nearing 1 hundred rooms, suites and apartments every one of which are distinctively designed. A small number of the facilities constitute private events rooms, a beauty centre, a gym and a cinema; you’ll never become bored at this hotel.

Certain of the old fashioned establishments are actually some of the finest that the capital has to give. The Ritz, The Savoy & Claridges are just one or two of them, and all of them have carried on since the Victorian times, even granting that most of these older hotels have had the advantage of a lot of restoration over the years but they still retain tons of of their authentic characteristics. Such places were purpose-built establishments and were some of the exclusive residences that provided a brilliant grade of luxuriousness.

Nowadays these previously mentioned establishments are even these days a few of the top in London’s Hotels and the best known. A non showy night in one of previously mentioned places will be in the vicinity 2 hundred and seventy pounds and the price is only for a standard room. Claridges has a further reward which neither of the other two have - a tremendous restaurant held by Gordon Ramsey reflecting the feel of the main building and is the very definition of pizzazz with superb food and great waiters. Get all the London hotel reviews with Time Out.

The trend currently appears to be newfangled boutique establishments, and the city presently contains a few to visit. The leading such hotel currently looks to be St Martin’s Ln. Hotel. From its terrific settings in the centre of the area of Covent Garden, the building is a fantastic and audacious recreation of a town hideaway - and it is exclusive and urbane. The hotel comes with lots of individual features, for example its recognized restaurant, Asia de Cuba and the famous Light bar space.

Seinfeld
The Chairs

Prologue:

Jerry: Coffee is a miraculous drink. Just think of the miraculous chain of events that had to take place to create this beverage. Somewhere, somebody had to figure out to take Coffee beans, burn them in a fire for several hours, grind up the remains and then run boiling water through them. Just think of it. Thousands of years ago in the Colombian mountains there must have been a massive volcanic eruption which burned million of acres of coffee beans. Then the massive earthquakes and fallout crushed the beans. After the eruption, it began to rain and water passed over the ashes. So, here you have it, a Colombian peasant, his family killed, his village destroyed, clamors up to the steaming hot river and takes a swig. Sure every possession he ever had is destroyed, but boy, he sure feels perky!

Marriage and U.S. Citizenship

An extremely common practice in the USA is for an American citizen (or legal permanent resident) to have a spouse who is a foreign national. When this happens, the citizen most often desires that their spouse shares in the same opportunities and privileges they have as an American citizen. The process of securing a green card for the spouse is a long and complicated process, and can take anywhere from a couple months to several years. When seeking a green card for a spouse there are two options that one can take.

Because spouses of U.S. citizens are considered an “immediate relative,’ they can apply for a green card without the traditional waiting period. It takes around ten months for the application to be reviewed but while they are waiting, the spouse can usually obtain a work permit in about a month’s time.

A spouse of a legal permanent resident of the U.S. can apply for a green card, but the waiting period is much longer and in addition, the spouse is subject to annual quotas. One of the primary sources of investigation is the nation of origin.

If your application for citizenship takes longer than expected don’t worry. Immigration is a very time consuming process and many times you are treated as a number and not an individual. By consulting an experienced immigration lawyer you can make your case stand out. Contact an experienced immigration lawyer today!

Has everybody heard of this young entrepreneur, Andres Kello?

He’s the guy trying to break the World Record for the most expensive Domain name ever.

Price Tag? How about 12 million plus one dollar. From the proceeds of the sale, at least $4,000,001.00 is pledged to charity. Another $4 million is promised to be given away to his supporters.

The official record is held by Business.com at $7.5 million.
The unofficial record stands at $12 million and reportedly is credited to Sex.com. Imagine that!

Mr. Kello believes that the sell of his Domain name is a small price to pay compared with the fees that some big businesses pay for 30 and 60 second ads on Super Bowl Sunday. He thinks once the sale is made, the media will be flooded with reports. Everyone will log in to see what this site has to offer and who finally decided to take a chance with that kind of advertising dollar.
He may have a vailid point. I’m curious right now, and maybe just a little jealous that I didn’t think of such a great idea. I love the charity factor that he has woven into this project, even though with that kind of money, I think he should commit at least half of the sale proceeds. Either way, it’s a big gift and I’m sure many people will benefit. Mr. Kello also claims that he will not just quit and walk away with his small fortune, but will continue to come up with bigger and better ideas to top this project.

I hope this thing really does happen. Maybe this idea will fuel the rockets in all our brains to propel more thoughts to new highs and make this world a better, safer, and more peaceful environment for our generation and those that will exist many years from now!

See Ya!

The term diabetes refers to higher than normal levels of sugar, or glucose, in the blood. Type II diabetes, also known as insulin-dependent diabetes, was commonly referred to as adult onset diabetes until recently when the name no longer accurately describes the population with this disease.

Type II diabetes, in the past, was relegated to the adult population. However, in the new era of ever rising cases of childhood obesity and heart disease, the term adult onset diabetes is quickly becoming a misnomer. The number of children that are presenting to doctors with this disease is rising at epidemic rates.

Unlike Type I diabetes, where there is little to no insulin being produced by the beta cells of the pancreas, in Type II diabetes there is plenty of insulin. The problem lies in the fact that the cells of the body no longer respond to the insulin. The normal response is to cause gates in the cell membranes to open and letting the sugar in from the blood stream. Since this is not occurring, the sugar levels in the blood remain extremely high and the cells are deprived of the necessary energy that they would normally derive from the sugar.

Additionally, as Type II diabetes is sometimes not diagnosed for many years, the pancreas will sometimes stop producing insulin all together since the body sees no need to make something that can’t be used.

Many professionals are prescribing changes in diet and increased activity levels as the medicine needed to help reverse some of the non-responsiveness of the cells to insulin. Making lifestyle changes can dramatically improve the overall health of the patient as well. To augment adjustments in nutrition and exercise, doctors can also prescribe diabetes medication which assists to increase the responsiveness of the cells to the insulin that the body may still be producing.

If left untreated, Type II diabetes can eventually decrease the quality of life and life span of the patient.

For an acne-afflicted person, the skin disorder may bring
tremendous embarrassments. This also may lessen his self-esteem
and may trigger him to stay away from people. Therefore it is
but essential that proper skin care methods are applied to
exterminate the skin condition or at the very least, lessen the
outbreak.

The following are gathered to aid you in healing the skin
disorder that has been troubling you for quite some time now.

*To remove excess oil in your face, you should be using a skin
astringent. *Though it is not advisable that skin moisturizers
are applied on a daily basis, oil free moisturizers can
supplement for the loss of moisture, especially after bath when
your skin is quite flaky. *It is more advisable to choose
water-based products over skin care products that has oil or
petroleum contents, *honey mask must be applied once a week. It
is regarded as a disinfectant and is believed to have medicinal
properties that are proven in healing minor blemishes. Also, it
may destroy bacteria thriving on the skin. *Wash your face with
sulphur-based soap two times a day. Possibly in the morning
after you wake up and in the evening before you sleep. Scrubbing
is not advisable, you only have to touch it smoothly. On the
other hand, too much washing of the skin may create further
trouble than help. *If you wear a long hair, it is advisable to
cut your hair short. Your hair has oil-content and may
accumulate dirt. Once you move and your hair gets in contact to
your face or your neck, this may worsen the case. Also, it is
proper that your hair is washed daily. *Take daily multi
vita, ins daily. Your skin may be needing nutritional supplements
which may not be provided in your diet. * To quickly heal your
pimples, it is recommended that your take chromium supplements.
* Vitamin A must be included in your diet for it may help in
protecting and preveting the skin from acne. It may also aid in
the reduction of seum. * Your make up must be removed before

push the dirt deeper into the skin and may cause swelling. Also,
popping and squeezing may leave permanent scars on the skin
surface. * It is generrally good to avoid using alcohol-based
lotions. * Your pillow case must be changed or washed on a daily
basis. * It is alos essential that Zinc is included in the food
items you take. Low body content of zinc ay ause acne breakouts.
* You must not wear tight clothes once youget acne on your bidy.

In boyhood I was satisfied to use my imagination to envision just how the Pilgrims set their feet on the Old Plymouth Rock. It began to take on an aura of the mystical and heroic to me, but I was far from the first person to be caught into these feelings. As far back as 1835, Mr. Alexis DeJocqueville spoke of the rocks ethereal qualities with far more eloquence than I. “This Rock has become an object of veneration in the United States. I have seen bits of it carefully preserved in several towns in the Union. Does this sufficiently show that all human power and greatness is in the soul of man? Here is a stone which the feet of a few outcasts pressed for an instant; and the stone becomes famous; it is treasured by a great nation; its very dust is shared as a relic.”

As an adult I was more inclined to use my curiosity to discover why the pilgrims came to land on this rock in the first place. The answer would lead me to discover a people driven, not just to a new land, but to a land that was free of all the tyranny and oppression they had know in their own European countries. The Rock became less mystical to me as an adult while the purpose of the pilgrims became a more venerable matter in my thinking.

It is impossible to ponder those brave Pilgrims, our forefathers, risking life and limb and enduring the perils of the sea, the unknown, starvation and deprivation of every sort without wondering about the very strong reasons they were so willing to face these perils and hardships. Discovering their reasons also provided answers to how the first Thanksgiving came about. The Pilgrims gave thanks because they saw the promise of their quest near at hand and in some small way at the harvest time of that first year it looked like their dream had gotten itself underway.

No one knows the exact words that were spoken in that prayer just before the first thanksgiving meal was eaten. But if the collective thoughts of all who sat for that meal could be known, we can be sure they were about things greater than the personal or family gains and safety that many prayers are reduced to today.

Their thankfulness was for the possibilities of religious freedom, taxation with representation, fair hearings before magistrates when charged with crimes, relief from oppressive monarchs and freedom to speak their minds without fear of reprisal. Many of the things taken for granted and rarely mentioned in the thanksgiving prayers of today are what they were thankful for.

It is said that about ninety Indians were present at the feast which lasted about three days. The very sight of these natives with completely unknown and diverse dress and culture eating with our tattered but dignified forefathers in harmony and full acceptance is a picture of America’s original dream, the dream of a place where everyone is welcome and able to work together in a common society. I am sure that they were thankful for that small microcosmic example of the larger dream they all shared for the country’s future.

The pilgrims were thankful for the beginning of their dream. We should be thankful for the fullness of that dream. The pilgrims were people who knew all to well that nobility was not inherent to those born in palaces but it was a state of the soul and a dignity of purpose found in people of higher thought. They were thankful on that first thanksgiving for the visible result of that higher thought. Happy Thanksgiving America.
